Pecking Order

Biologists studying penguins in the Antarctic have trouble telling the birds apart. “To us, almost every penguin looks the same,” said John Croxall, a biologist with the British Antarctic Survey. Their solution? Bar codes, like those on grocery items, glued to each penguin’s beak. However, they’re still working on the best way to attach the bar code labels. “You don’t tackle a King or an Emperor with impunity,” Croxall said, showing bruises resulting from trying. (Reuters) ...Sounds like a British problem. Charles and Andrew found they couldn’t tackle a Princess with impunity, either.
