This is True

QED

Max Baer Jr., who played Jethro Bodine on The Beverly Hillbillies TV show in the 1960s, says his proposed casino in Reno, Nev., is not “tacky”, as opponents to his project complain. “I’m a has-been, a used-to-be and a was. But at one time, I was an is,” he argued incomprehensibly before the city council. But the ideals behind the show are not tacky, he told them. “One hundred million people watched it every week. So 100 million American citizens are tacky?” (AP) ...That is indeed the approximate number, yes.
