Two unlicensed exterminators in Biloxi, Miss., Paul Walls, 62, and Dock Eatman, 64, were sentenced to serve federal prison terms of 78 months and 63 months, respectively, after they used an agricultural pesticide to treat hundreds of houses. The pesticide, which is safe to use on cotton crops since the sun breaks it down, is fatal to humans in doses as small as a teaspoon. The houses had to be destroyed. “I did not know that this stuff was like they said it was,” Eatman claimed. “I got it in my own mouth and my eyes and I washed it out with olive oil and it never hurt or killed me.” (Reuters) ...More’s the pity.
