Rescue Dog

While Hannah Wilson was at work, her terrier puppy, Jemima, found the telephone. The Leytonstone, England, dog pulled the phone onto the floor and started pawing the buttons. It managed to dial 999, the emergency number. Apparently hearing nothing but panting on the other end of the call, dispatchers sent police to investigate. Since there was no answer at the door, police broke through the sturdy door with sledgehammers, fearing the caller had collapsed into unconsciousness. “I’ve forgiven Jemima. It was just a freak accident,” Wilson said. She’s asking police to help pay for the broken door. (Reuters) ...It’s her own fault if she didn’t train the dog to answer the door after he’s invited someone over.
