A survey of the staff from 27 Australia and New Zealand hotels in the Novotel chain finds women are messier than men and steal more towels. Men tip better, Novotel says, but women are quieter — except when having sex. Women are making more passes at the staff, too, and increasingly watching adult movies in their rooms. On the other hand, men are more likely to lock themselves out — naked — when they walk out their room door thinking it’s the way to the bathroom.
