Say What? Her sisters, Crystal Clyburn, 28, and Tammy Clyburn, 21, of Sarasota, Fla., took exception when police stopped by their house looking for their sister, Sylvia. “You motherf-----g cops ain't got no right to be in my mamma's house,” one allegedly said. “Those damn bitches ain't got no f-----g right to do that to us” was another statement police wrote down. Officers didn't find Sylvia, but they arrested Crystal and Tammy for swearing in front of children — the officers noted that as many as 15 children younger than 11 were within 25 feet of the women as they were cursing. Indeed, the city has an ordinance against using such language in front of children, but Deputy Police Chief Ed Whitehead couldn't explain how the officers were even aware of the obscure 1939 law. “I don't know how in the hell they knew about that one,” he said. (Sarasota Herald-Tribune) ...I'm sorry, chief, but you're under arrest.
