Sayonara

A 35-year-old Japanese man sued his bride for 4.5 million yen (US$38,100) for not performing her wifely duties — cooking, cleaning and laundry. The woman, who has a full-time job, separated from her husband soon after their wedding when she learned of his demands, and they are now divorced. Tokyo District Court Judge Hiroto Waki threw out the suit, but ordered that the woman return her wedding ring to her ex-husband. (Reuters) ...But not until she can get a warning inscribed in it.
