School Assignments II

Parents in Riverside, Calif., are upset with a Norte Vista High School math teacher who asked some unusual questions on a summer school test, such as “[A man] is in prison sentenced to six years for murder. He got $10,000 for the hit. If his common-law wife is spending $100 per month, how much money will be left when he gets out of prison and how many years will he get after he kills her for spending the money?” The teacher said the test was a joke, has apologized to the students and “is more than willing to apologize to anybody who is offended,” the teacher’s union says. But Louise Palomarez of the Mexican Political Association says “We want him fired! We don’t want no damn apology.” (AP) ...Seņora! Write “We don’t want any damned apology” on the board 50 times.
