When Christopher Peregory, 12, was sent to the principal’s office at Belle View Elementary School in Fairfax, Va., he decided instead to get out of town. The boy took the train to Reagan National Airport and slipped onto a TWA jetliner. Once he found himself in St. Louis, Mo., he panicked and called his mother. TWA, criticized for its lack of security or curiosity about a 12-year-old boy traveling alone, turned on the boy. “He did something wrong, he did something that was a violation of several statutes, and that should be the focus of what occurred here,” an airline spokesman said. (AP) ...That’s just like a child to point to someone else and say “it wasn’t me, he did it!”
