Researchers at Johns Hopkins University have found that men with lower testosterone levels remember shapes poorly, but do better on English tests. Even more telling: giving the men more testosterone improves their spatial abilities, but reduces their verbal skills. “Nobody is saying, however, that we should be giving testosterone to women who want to be architects, or estrogen to men who want to be politicians,” said Adrian Dobs, who worked on the study.
