China took a big step toward sexual freedom with a government-sponsored national “sex exposition” last week, featuring displays stocked with contraceptives, sex toys, a “masturbation pillow” and “Poodle Oil”. The pillow’s promotional video featured a woman in lace panties grinding against the pillow, with a spokeswoman mentioning “I’ve used it myself and can say it really feels great.” A doctor gave up trying to explain its effect. “Perhaps men don’t understand this, but it makes a woman feel very, very good,” she said. A promotional poster for “Poodle Oil” exhorted “Gentlemen! Don’t worry for your premature ejaculation.
