Seattle, Wash., TV station KING has been fined and banned from filming at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming for two years after its Evening Magazine show tried to cook some chicken by dunking it in one of the park’s thermal geysers. Where did they get the idea to perform such an environmentally unfriendly stunt? They were reenacting the practice of early park tour guides who demonstrated the heat of the thermal pools by cooking meat for visitors.
