Spring in the Air

Residents in Stigtomta, southern Sweden, have staged “Pee Outdoors Day” to call attention to the problem with a nearby lake. A local environmental group, Save the Hallbo Lake, says that the local sewage treatment plant is killing the lake’s fish and plants by pumping too much nitrogen into the water. Even the village priest took part in the event, as did 2,000 other residents. (Reuters) ...Plus, the lake is now significantly larger.
