Did you find an article in a legitimate newspaper that would be perfect for This is True? There's a new procedure that will get it seen.

Since True's launch in 1994, Randy has appreciated hearing about good stories from readers, especially local stories from tiny newspapers that wouldn't normally otherwise be seen.

But sending a link to Randy means he sees it -- and no one else does unless he writes it up for the newsletter. When he sees over 100 stories per week and uses 7-9/week in True, obviously most "go to waste". Wouldn't it be cool if people could see everything in Randy's "queue"?

So the thing to do is not send the URL to Randy, but instead to post it on Randy's "Weird News" story sharing site, Groxx (a play on "It Rocks!" and "I Grok"). It's a membership site (registration is required) -- but membership is free.

We hope you'll join us on Groxx -- the Weird News Sharing site, and will use that as the "submission queue" to ensure Randy sees the story you have in mind. If you really don't want to register for free on Groxx, you can e-mail the URL (not a scan or e-mailed HTML page!) of recent articles from legitimate, mainstream newspapers to Randy.
