Take a Bite Out of Crime

Kendall Coffey, the U.S. Attorney for the Miami, Fla., area, has resigned his position after a topless dancer in an adult entertainment club accused him of biting her while she was giving him a private performance. In a statement, Coffey said he must leave, “because my family has paid too great a price for the sacrifices that accompany public service.” Uh, anything to say about the dancer’s charges, Kendall? “I have concerns about the possible impact on the important work on my office,” he said. (UPI) ...She should get tested: I’ve heard him described as a rabid prosecutor.
