In the past 12 years, 19 children have died after accidentally locking themselves in car trunks. General Motors says they’re going to do something about it. By 2002 most GM cars will include “people-detecting infrared sensors” to determine if someone is in the trunk, and then automatically pop open the lid when it finds them. (UPI) ...So starting in 2002, remember not to hide bodies in the trunk until after they cool.
