Tenth Amendment

Despite new laws in two states allowing marijuana to be prescribed by doctors for medical purposes, President Clinton has vowed that all federal laws against the drug will be enforced in both states. Any doctor who prescribes pot will have his or her authority to prescribe controlled drugs revoked, and criminal charges may be filed against them, the Clinton Administration has announced. Clinton’s drug “czar”, Gen. Barry McCaffrey, said the voters in California and Arizona “were asleep at the switch” when they approved the “hoax referendums” legalizing medicinal marijuana in their states.
