This is True

The Day the Clown Cried

Comedian Jerry Lewis, 73, was honored recently for his life work by the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo. He spoke of the various comics he enjoyed, such as Dean Martin, but didn’t mention any women. An audience member asked Lewis which female comics he admired. “I don’t like any female comedians,” he answered. “A woman doing comedy doesn’t offend me, but sets me back a bit. I, as a viewer, have trouble with it. I think of her as a producing machine that brings babies in the world.” (AP) ...Apparently, The Patsy will soon need to Fight For Life or at least protect The Family Jewels — unless The Nutty Professor argues The Ladies Man is finally Cracking Up and has gone Way... Way Out.
