Comedian Jerry Lewis, 73, was honored recently for his life work by the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colo. He spoke of the various comics he enjoyed, such as Dean Martin, but didn’t mention any women. An audience member asked Lewis which female comics he admired. “I don’t like any female comedians,” he answered. “A woman doing comedy doesn’t offend me, but sets me back a bit. I, as a viewer, have trouble with it.
