Due to an increasing concern about unruly passengers groping flight attendants, Swissair officials have formally endorsed a new procedure to deal with “sex pests” in the air. Flight attendants may now slap passengers to defend their dignity and, if the problem escalates, they can tie passengers up in their seats. “We do not recommend it,” the airline’s spokesman announced, “but we accept it if our staff reacts when assaulted and will defend our staff in court.” (Reuters) ...Unfortunately, some passengers will just be encouraged if they’re tied up.
