The Naked and the Damned

Harold Gunn, a Texas state representative candidate, says it’s no big deal that he produced and starred in the movie The Great Texas Showoff, which features multiple scenes of naked women rubbing motor oil on themselves, dancing, or running through city streets. “It was a blast, something I did 20 years ago,” Gunn says. “There is no sex and no dirty language. It’s as tasteful as it can get with naked women in it,” he says — the women “are all pretty.” The Republican candidate, trying to unseat the Republican incumbent, says “It’s just no big deal, it shows I am a communicator and that’s all.” (Houston Chronicle) ...“If only I had thought of saying that,” said an admiring Bill Clinton.
