This is True

The Never-Ending Story

An armed robber held up a clerk at the post office in Bordeaux, France, and demanded 100,000 francs (US$13,700). The clerk responded there was nowhere near that much in the till. OK, how about 50,000 francs? Nope. The frustrated robber then made out a withdrawal slip for a smaller amount from his own account. As per the usual rules, the clerk asked for his identity card. The robber produced it, took the money, and left. Police easily tracked the unnamed man down and arrested him. (Reuters) ...Some days it just doesn’t pay to gnaw through the leather straps.
