Samuel Hernandez spent five years in pain after surgery, going to doctor after doctor to find out why. Finally, a Miami, Fla., doctor x-rayed him and found the cause: the surgeon in the original 1988 operation left a towel inside him. It has now been removed, and Hernandez is trying to sue the doctor and hospital, despite the expiration of a four-year statute of limitations. (AP) ...Worse, they charged him $288 for that towel.
