A 36-year-old man was rescued before being crushed in a trash compactor at a landfill in Saskatchewan, Canada. The man said he had climbed into a dumpster in Saskatoon. A truck came by and emptied the bin, compacted him with the trash, and then dumped him at the landfill. He was about to be compacted again when a worker heard him moaning. The unidentified man suffered a broken jaw, arm and ribs and a possible spinal injury. “I’m amazed he survived,” said Canada Waste Services district manager Dan Swerhone. “They usually don’t come out alive.” (AFP) ...Which just makes you wonder how many are buried alive.
