Tonic and Tonic

“Wander down the Strand in London and you will see the evidence. How many of the alcoholics are ever bald?” asks hair loss expert Dr. Hugh Rushton of the Institute of Trichologists in London. Rushton said bald men tend to have an excess of testosterone, but heavy drinkers damage their livers so much that it cannot process the hormone. Thus, if you find a man who is a heavy drinker, it is likely he’ll still have his hair, Rushton said. (Reuters) ...Ah, but who cares when it’s just the hair of the dog?
