Keith Quick, 28, was apparently asleep in a dumpster in Omaha, Neb., when a trash truck pulled up and dumped Quick and his surroundings in its hopper, then continued on its route. Several stops later, the driver heard someone calling for help from the back of his truck. By that time, he had turned on the truck's compacter “two or three times,” said an Omaha Fire Department spokesman. The man was hospitalized with multiple fractures. “He is pretty lucky.” (Reuters) ...Yep: homeless, sleeping in a dumpster, and being crushed half to death sounds awfully lucky all right.
