What’s in a Name?

A district court in southern Sweden has fined a family $680 for not giving their son a valid first name. The unidentified parents claim the name they chose for the boy is “a pregnant, expressionistic development that we see as an artistic creation.” But the court rejects the argument that “Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116" — pronounced ”Albin" — is a real name. The parents plan to appeal. (Reuters) ...It’s also unclear whether “Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116" is Swedish, or if that’s an English translation.
