Danny E. Morts pleaded innocent to loitering charges in Van Buren, Ark., and then saw an opportunity to escape. That he did, but his distinctive black-and-white striped jail uniform was attracting too much attention, so he ditched it. That didn’t fool an officer in pursuit, however. Morts “kind of stuck out,” a police spokesman said, since he was running down the street stark naked. He was quickly caught, and charged with escape and disorderly conduct.
