Youth Crime II

Businessman Timothy Woomer has finally confessed. While a student at Xavier University in 1957, he took out an ad in the Wall Street Journal offering the school’s faculty residence hall for sale, and included the university president’s phone number. The Ohio Jesuit school got calls “from around the world” as a result of the prank. Woomer, who billed the ad to the school, recently sent a check for $25 “to cover the collect phone calls from prospective buyers around the world for such an attractive apartment complex.” His conscience may or may not be clear: “We did a couple other things too, but I’m not fessing up to those,” he said. (UPI) ...At least not before the statute of limitations is up.
